I'm a bit of a cloth diaper junkie so it was like Christmas when Nader personally delivered my samples. I opened the package and inspected each diaper, wipe and liner carefully. I was impressed by the overall quality of these diapers. I then washed my Lil Helper's a few times to make sure they were at their maximum absorbency before testing them out.
After using Lil Helper's for a couple of weeks now I can say they are AWESOME! I have tried out both the Organic Bamboo Diaper and the Charcoal Bamboo Diaper and I really love them both. Each diaper comes with two inserts so the shell can be used a couple of times before being washed. You can also double up the liners for heavy wetters or overnight. The shell is made of waterproof pul material and comes in a lot of funky designs! I really like that the diapers are made with snaps instead of velcro since my little one has now learned how to take off her velcro diapers. These diapers also have a great fit, tight enough around the legs and tummy that I haven't had any leaks. The bamboo inserts are so absorbent. I had the opportunity to test out the Bamboo Stay Dry Liners and they made clean up so easy. I really liked that I didn't need to use a flushable liner and that they can be used over and over again. The unique thing about the Charcoal Bamboo Diaper is that they can actually prevent diaper rash and help clear up an existing diaper rash! These diapers also prevent the smell of ammonia that can build up over time. Since my daughter didn't have a diaper rash and the diapers are too new to tell if there could be ammonia build up, I will update this post in a few months to let you know my personal experience.
Here's what others have to say about the Charcoal Bamboo Diaper...
